Training leaders for effective discipleship.
I met Shon Lewis in 2019 November, when he Travelled to Uganda for a conference in the South Sudanese Refugee settlement in Yumbe district. During that trip Shon planned a three days conference for pastors in the settlement. Not only that; when I consulted from those pastors about Shon they told me, he was with them in Yei community Baptist church. He trained many leaders in South Sudan, from that day our relationship with Shon grew because we have the same conviction, leadership training. Shon remained a friend of Grace community church Koboko and one of the trainers of pastors in our Baptist association.Last year he trained the pastors from Dr Congo, Uganda and South Sudan at Grace community church, and this year we are expecting Him to come again in first week of December, for the pastors have requested him to come and do more training. This year we are planning to open a new training center in Moyo district as we expand our leadership training network. Please pray for Shon as he plans to travel for this ministry trip to Uganda in Decembers this year. Thanks Yours in Christ
I have known Shon Lewis for several years now. There are not many men that I know who have the hunger and desire to exposit God’s word in the context and culture it was written and designed for. Shon is one of those who I have found to be dependable and reliable when handling the scriptures.
